Hey everyone. I know it’s been… well forever since I’ve written a blog post, but I figure since it is National Blog Posting Month, I’ve decided it high time I started posting to this site again on a daily fashion. As a personal note, due to time, I’m technically a day behind, so one of these days you’ll hopefully see two posts to make up the deficit. 

     So what’s the topic for today’s post. How about what it is I’m currently working on

1. For starters, I’m working on a new site. This will be my first professional site since College and it will be a bit more of a controlled situation. Its good to be back into the swing of coding and I’m way better than I was in my early days.
2. I’m also working on a new resume site. Fully coded in Ruby utilizing the Sinatra framework, it should be a simple site with the ability to keep all my project links, job history, and public contact info in a database, able to push out the data in whatever format I see fit. The basic look is going to follow my now standard  ”8-bit” feel, utilizing things that seem to be me these days. All records will output to JSON. The contact will in addition to the JSON output also output to a VCARD, complete with my default “8-bit” me icon
3. I’m also working on my first twitter app. I won’t go into details, but I will say it will utilize the streaming API. It will be coded fully using Ruby on Rails and allow me to learn the framework from top to bottom.

    So, as you can see, I’m in a heavy coding mode. I’ll try to update on each of these projects. As for this blog, expect random topic posts. Hope you’ve enjoyed this update in content.
