Memoirs of an English Major

I haven’t written a post in a while. I’ve been slightly busy over the past few days working on a redesign for the site. I’ve felt after a year, it’s high time I bust out my CSS, PHP, Javascript, and HTML skills and code my own theme. I’m not sure when it will be done, but hopefully by the end of the month. I will also be re-organizing the portfolio page into more logical sections and other types of work, such as web design and code. But that is for later. For now, a little poem I wrote. The subject of this poem is a strange one and it’s a though that has bugged me for the entire week. Enjoy

Plain, yet stunning

Cold, yet inviting

Silly, yet serious

Strange, yet extraordinary

Insane, yet strangely normal

Annoying, yet captivating

Crude, yet polite

Extremely loud, yet surprisingly quiet.

And I am losing my mind over the whole bloody thing.
