With the release of Wordpress 2.6 and it’s revision control, this week will mark the end of the wiki. It had a short run, but it was useful in its infancy. The only reason I had done so was to track revision within my major writing project to see how I would develop as a writer and somehow socialize that. And since revision control is on both posts and pages, this serve the purpose the wiki would. So, be ready to see a more integrated look and feel. I recommend to all who are running a Wordpress blog to upgrade. It is really slick and I’m impressed with the changes. Being a long time user of Wordpress (since 1.2), I’m really impressed with the 2.0 line and 2.6 just adds more features that truly make Wordpress a perfect combination of CMS and blogging engine. Well worth the update.

All in all, I think Entrecard has proven a good feature on my site and I will look for other ways to lead in readers, but there is a dilemma I must face. When does it go against the whole design?

After careful thought and months working on my own, I decided it was a better approach to modify the great looking Grid Focus to accept my own modifications. I am still in the process of placing my custom Wordpress options and once it is all done, I will put the theme up for download. In any case, expect a full post on Thursday. Till then, I’ll begin working on the content tagging.
